Founder’s Notes 

Hello, I'm Mrs. Mullen! I'm the owner and director of Londonderry Dance Academy. I started Londonderry Dance Academy because I wanted to give the students in southern New Hampshire the opportunity to study dance at a quality level. In the last 33 years, many students have graduated LDA to perform in ballet companies or become doctors, surgeons, pilots, therapists, school teachers, dance teachers, and many other admirable professions. It is important to me as a teacher to impart the necessity of hard work in order to achieve. To be respectful in order to be respected. To be disciplined, focused, and always caring of others. Dance is the perfect place to express oneself and enjoy physical activity in a creative manor.  At LDA we offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Pointe, Voice, and Piano.  Our ballet program has twelve levels (primary through advanced)  and students are trained in the Royal Academy of Dance style.  We offer many opportunities for performance through New England Dance Ensemble, Story Dance Touring Company, and LDA's end of year production. LDAs resident dance company NEDE combines the talents of local pre-professional dancers, with currently performing professionals from National and International Companies. Recently students have been afforded the opportunity to dance alongside dance icons including Misty Copeland and Gillian Murphy right here in New Hampshire.  Each summer we host Triple Threat Theater Camp which 'Brings Broadway to NH.' Our studio is for dancers who aspire to become professionals or for the dancers who just love to dance. We look forward to you joining the LDA family.
