Beginner Point
Beginner Pointe is intended for students deemed ready to begin pointe. The first weeks of the class will be spent on strengthening feet, ankles, legs and core. Students will then travel together for a professional shoe fitting to obtain their first pair of pointe shoes. The first year students remain at the barre.
Pointe
Grade Five & Intermediate Foundation
Students continue to build on the foundation established in beginner and Grade 4 pointe. Each class includes barre exercises, center work and across the floor combination. Classical repertoire is introduced. Students in Intermediate Foundation begin preparing pointe work for their Royal Academy of Dance course work. Pointe classes are designed for students who are actively training in ballet.

Intermediate & Advanced Pointe
Focusing on pre-professional oriented students, Intermediate and Advanced Pointe classes emphasize commitment, artistic integrity, performance quality, and technical excellence. Students engage in barre, center practice and across the floor combinations that require greater speed, control, strength, stamina and complexity than the foundation levels of pointe. Royal Academy of Dance syllabi is incorporated as well as Classical and Contemporary repertoire.
